The food was amazing, and the service was excellent overall, despite a few hiccups-it was just one of those days. The staff was incredibly friendly, even managing well with a small, energetic child. The main issue was that their menu wasn't updated on their website. Additionally, several menu items were already unavailable, even for an 11 a.m. brunch like the biscuits and gravy. We were left with very limited options to choose from. For instance, items like the salmon Benedict, garden hash, and omelette were missing from their actual menu at the restaurant. Despite this, the food we had was truly excellent. I would certainly return but highly recommend that the restaurant keep their online menu updated to reflect their current offerings.

Food was fantastic especially the duck and the roasted potatoes. The duck was cooked perfectly and the roasted potatoes were extremely crispy and flavorful in a large shareable portion. Cocktails were also great. Open kitchen style so you are watching as they’re making the food! Great service and ambiance. Dessert menu was lacking in my opinion but I have a sweet tooth.

Easy to book a table online. Tables are situated around the open kitchen, where you can watch food and drinks being prepared alike. The food was not bad but I am not sure that the quality is justified by the prices. Drinks were pretty delightful.

This is my 4th time here, they just rotated their menu. All the food we had was delicious. I especially loved the mussels! I normally don’t eat mussels but their mussels are fresh and flavorful. Our group had people that are vegan, gluten free, and dairy free, they were able to accommodate all of us.

We came here for a team dinner and enjoyed ourselves. The food was very very good and the service was decent. However the service was rather slow. It took us well over an hour to get our food, but when it was served it was delicious! I would recommend but go early and order quickly then sit back and relax.

Had a fantastic birthday celebration for my friends birthday at Shaker & Spear! Our server Aaron took great care of us to make it a memorable night with fantastic drinks, great food recommendations and attentive service. We came planning to have oysters but they were out, not so unfortunately as we ended up having amazing other options. I am still dreaming about the Carrot Risotto with Seared Scallops and Sashimi Appetizer!! Definitely recommend spending your evening here and trying their wonderful menu!!

I liked the atmosphere of Shaker + Spear as well as the menu options. There was ample food provided as I was not able to finish my meal. The eggs were particularly good (seared with I believe some of the sausage grease). I had the biscuits and gravy. It had a bit of a spin on it from the norm with a spicy kick. I would definitely go back. The wait staff were quick and very attentive.

Foods are really really good, especially love the duck! Also, it’s unexpected there are two legs for the dish! The scallops are fresh, the mussels as tasty and the hamachi with the apple is excellent! It is rather interesting that the waitress informed us that we will have to order everything at once, and we cannot order the appetizer first. That’s a bit strange!!
